Spartan Soccer Wins Fifth Straight

Manchester used an own goal by Earlham in the 59th minute to take a 1-0 win, marking the fifth straight conference win by the Spartans. The win also puts MC in a tie for third place in the conference standings.

Earlham held a 14-5 advantage on shots, while MC had four corner kicks to Earlham’s three.

Grant Noakes had four saves in the shutout win as Manchester improves to 6-9-2 on the year, 5-2 in HCAC action. The Spartans face conference rival Anderson on Tuesday and host Mt. St. Joseph for senior day on Saturday.
