The Manchester women’s soccer team lost a tough battle against Oak Hill 0-1 Thursday. For the majority of the game, Manchester shut Oak Hill down and held them scoreless. The strong defense was led by Haley Clifford, Ranissa Shambarger, Kayla Metzger, and Jirni Cripe. Kiera Stacy had 7 saves on the night. Oak Hill scored in the last 8 minutes of the game to take the lead. Despite some great shots by Carsyn Howard, Bailey Mooney, and Julie Dalsager, Manchester couldn’t get past the Golden Eagle’s keeper.
