Manchester Volleyball Tops Canterbury

The Manchester volleyball team played host to Canterbury Tuesday, winning 25-13, 23-25, 25-23, 25-14.

The Lady Squires got off to a great start in game one, jumping out to an 8-4 lead. Anna Osborne led the charge with a kill and a block with Sydney Day adding three kills. The Squires would continue to dominate the net, going to Day and Kara Kline while Kendra Auler was serving aces for the 25-13 win.

Maybe suffering a let down after the easy game one win, Manchester struggled in game two. Canterbury would grab the lead with the Squires drawing even just one time as Canterbury took game two 23-25.

Manchester would find Day early in game three and with Auler firing aces again as the Squires were up 10-5. Canterbury wouldn’t go away however as Manchester would never by up by more than 5 points. Day and Kennidy Lauer would control the net as the Squires held on in game three 25-23.

Game four would be all Manchester. Up 13-10 Day and Kline would flex their muscle at the net while the Squires took advantage of Canterbury errors for a 25-14 win.
