The Manchester High School Tennis Team was looking to garner momentum into the final days of the year. “We have a tough task with 5 matches in 10 days down the stretch and all should be fairly competitive. We needed to play in some tight, pressure-packed matches before next week’s sectional.” added Coach Screeton. In Singles, the Squires swept the night as number 1 Luke Donathan won 1, 0 number 2 Spence Trick won 3,0, and number 3 singles Kyle Shepherd defeated his opponent 3, 5. In doubles, Columbia City was able to win at number 1 doubles with Lee and Smith defeating Parker Wagoner and Logan Parrett in a great three setter 6-3, 4-6, 4-6.
