Strong Second Half Lifts Lady Apaches Past Southern Wells

The Wabash lady Apaches put 7 players in the scoring column and rode a strong second half in a 53-39 win over Southern Wells Saturday.

The game was tied 8-8 after the first stop with Wabash winning the second 11-8 to lead 19-16 at  the half. The Wabash offense would start clicking in the second half, winning the third quarter 19-10 and the fourth 15-13 for the 53-39 win.

Carmen Higdon led the Apaches with 15 points. Bailey Yoakum added 13, Hope Unger 3, Abby Vinopal 4, Nici Gunderman 2, Tabby Wagner 8, Alivia Short 8.
