Squires Fall In Season Opener To Mississinewa

The Manchester Squires opened their season Wednesday hosting Mississinewa, playing well in the first and fourth but it wasn;t enough as the fell to the Indians 64-52.

The Squires would handle the Indians in the first quarter, leading 13-8 after the first stop before being out scored 26-12 in the second to trail 34-25 at the half.

Mississinewa would extend their lead in the third, winning the quarter 14-10 before Manchester won the fourth 17-16 for the 64-52 final.

The Manchester junior varsity fell to Mississinewa 43-28.
