She’s averaging 16 points per contest over her last three outings due in large part to a sparkling 78.2 percent conversion rate at the free throw line. Her numbers in the period also include six rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.7 assists per game while the sophomore’s season point (8.1 pg) and rebound (6.6 pg) marks have seen jumps of nearly six points and just under a full rebound per contest … Junior forward/center Beth Schaefer (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and fellow sophomore guard Nicole Weaver (Fort Wayne, Ind.) join Farris in top 10 HCAC statistical categories. Schaefer’s 7.6 and Farris’ 6.6 boards per outing are No. 6 and No. 9, respectively, while Schaefer’s 47.9 field goal percentage sits 10th, and Farris’ 76 percent accuracy rate at the charity stripe is sixth-best. Weaver’s also in the top 10 of two areas in regards to scoring (12.4 ppg – No. 9) and assists (3.7 pg – No. 5) … MU harbors a 2-5 overall and 1-2 conference record … Manchester University departs for warmer climates shortly following Saturday’s game.
