The Southwood Knights continued to roll after their county championship Saturday, defeating Mississnewa 74-55 Wednesday.
After trailing early the Knights responded with an 18-0 run to lead 21-11 after the first stop before a track meet broke out in the second with the Indians taking the quarter 23-20. Southwood led 41-34 at the half.
The pace would slow a bit in the third with the Knights winning the quarter 15-12 to lead 56-46 with a quarter to go, then stepped on the gas in the fourth 18-9 for the 74-55 final.

The JV Knights struggled offensively shooting only 32 percent from the field in a battle of County Champions and ultimately succumbed to the Mississinewa Indians 42-33.
The Knights scored more points (17) in the 3rd quarter than the other 3 quarters combined. The Knights also had more turnovers in this game than they had committed in the last 2 games combined.
Gabe Lloyd and Quentin Perry both scored 9 points to lead the team. Jackson Simons led the team in rebounds with 6 and 4 points. Luke Winer had 4 points with Connor Rich chipping in 3. Carson Rich and Braden Barney completed the scoring with 2 a piece.
