Lewis Cass scored 1 run in the 1st, 5 in the 2nd, 1 in the 3rd and 2 in the 4th.

Pitching Summary:  Jenny Bentley: 6 innings, 11 hits, 9 runs 4 ER, 4BB, 2 HBP, 8 K’s

Hitting Summary: Meranda Friend 1-3, Courtney Simpson 1-3, Lacey Goble 1-3, Kenzie Rhamy 1-2, Jordyn Chain 1-2

Coach Troyer ” We had a rough experience tonight and our youth showed tonight. We made strides all season and we have to focus on that moving onto next season. The only way we truly loose tonight is by not learning from this experience and this season as we look towards making improvements for next year.”

In game two Manchester was taking on #5 North Miami, who had beaten the Squires earlier in the season. After giving up 2 runs in the first, pitcher Sydney Jordan and the Squire defense settled down to hold the Warriors scoreless for the next four innings.

With a Kalene Freshour single in the 4th being the only Manchester hit, the Lady Squires would make things interesting in the 5th. With one out Sydney Jordan singled, with Marrett Metzger pinch running. Metzger would steal 2nd & 3rd and scored when North Miami booted a Tabby DeWitt grounder to make it 2-1 after five.

North Miami ace Josie Wood turned up the heat a notch in the 6th, striking out all three Squire batters. With two outs in the bottom of the sixth, Bailey Briggs doubled and was followed by a Cortnee Lefebvre  single to drive Briggs home for a 3-1 lead.

The Squires went three up and three down in the 7th, as the Warriors eliminated Manchester from the tournament.

After holding Taylor in the 4th, Catina McCord delivered another double, scoring Paige Hyden who received first on an over throw by the pitcher as Wabash scored 2 to lead 6-2.

Taylor would pick up a run in the 5th and one more in the 7th as Wabash held on for the 6-4 win.
