Wabash 14′s Fall In Game One Of Pool Play

Story by Brad Hampton

The Wabash 14 yr olds started the state tourney Thursday at Middleberry.  In the first game of pool play the 14 yr olds fell to a big phyiscal team from Columbus.  On the end of a 11-1 lose Wabash had some strong preformances on  the hill from Nate Hembree and Dustin Curless as well as Kody Fuller and Isaih Smith.  Hitting seem to keep the 14 yr olds off the board against a hard throwing Columbus pitching staff .  Wabash gets a chance to stay in the hunt for a spot in the final four Friday at 4:30 against a good Yorktown team.
