On Thursday June 17 the Honeywell Senior League played their weekly scramble on a beautiful sunny day. There were 6 teams that participated and the scores were all very close. In first place, besting the field by two shots with a score of 31 was the team of Ron Reynolds, Brian Cochran, Ron Crist, and Web Thrush. Following in second place with a score of 33 was the team of Bill Kingery, Tom Oldenkamp, Steve McCammack and Bill Neale. In third place by virtue of the back up system of deciding ties was the team of Jack Vrooman, Devon Wilson, Dick White and Norm Bell with score of 35 as they defeated the other two teams of Jim DuBois, Bob Wolfe, Chuck Ravenscroft, Jack Dyson, and the team of Lee Richards, Ross Trump, Jack Love, and Steve Anderson. In the special events for the day we had the longest putt made for those under 70 was Bill Neale and the longest putt made for those 70 and over was Bob Wolf. Congratulations to the winners and due to the Wabash County Hospital Foundation tournament next thursday we will not play but we will have an 18 hole scramble on July 1st with lunch following the golf.
