Coach Angie Dale says: “Today was a great day to see the difference in tempo between different teams, and the first two were definitely a different pace than the las two. Unfortunately we were not able to keep up with Rochester and fell down 8 points at one time. That is a big deficit to recover from, but we came out swinging in game 2, just were not able to terminate. The long rally’s I give to my defensive end. They couldn’t get anything through us, but unfortunately we couldn’t get anything through them either. It was a tough loss, but gives us some things to look at. North Miami was another tough match in which we beat ourselves in game 2. They had some strong hitters that we were able to defend against, but we made a lot of errors on our side. I am happy with how well our team is progressing. I think we have a group of kids willing to do anything not to let the ball drop on our side. We had good foot movement throughout the day which is a great step in the right direction, especially in an all day tournament.”
