The Wabash Lady Apache volleyball team lost a tough match to North Miami Wednesday night 27-29, 25-19, 27-29, 23-25.
In game one the Lady Apaches had the lead six times, never more than four points. Tied at 27 North Miami served two straight aces to record the win.
In game two Wabash took the lead at 7-6 and never looked back, stretching the lead to as much as seven points and eventually winning 25-19.
Game three was probably the tightest game of the night even though the score was the same as game one. The game had seven lead changes and fourteen ties. Wabash was up 27-26 when North Miami rallies to score three straight points to win the game.
In game four it was North Miami’s turn to take the lead early. The Lady Warriors built the lead to 12-5 before Wabash would start to mount a come back. Behind two kills from Kelsey Cromer and two from Lyndsie Thomas Wabash cut the lead to 17-16. Two more kills from Kaleigh Hensley and the game was tied at twenty. Cromer would have one more kill to put Wabash up 23-22 and then just like game three, North Miami scored the last three point to win the game and the match.
