The Metro Lady Rage came away with a 1-1 tie after 80 minutes of play against Grant County United on Thursday night. GCU took an early lead, but Shiloh Wilson (Sr SHS) received a pass from Brittany Hobson (Sr SHS) and beat the GCU defense to tie the score before halftime. Neither team was able to score in the second half. Hannah Fadil (Jr SHS)had 20 saves in goal for the Lady Rage.
In JV action, the Lady Rage came away with a 2-1 win. Alyssa Richter (So. NHS) scored to tie the game 1-1 on an assist from Olivia Forthofer (Sr SHS). Mariah Wilson (Fr SHS) scored the winning goal in the second half on an assist from Kylee Gunter (Jr SHS). cassidy Sausaman had 7 saves in goal.
The Lady Rage return to action on Saturday at the Morrett Sports Complex. The game begins at 10am against Woodlan High School and is followed by the Metro Rage vs Woodlan Boy’s game at noon.
