Wabash Girls Move To #4

The Wabash girls basketball team has moved up to #4 in 2A this week after wins over Northfield and Oak Hill last week.

According to VarVee stats, Kaleigh Hensley is 2nd in the state in scoring at 27.3ppg, 6.7ppg behind Amy Jordan of Irvington Preparatory Academy. Kaleigh is also 2nd in the state in steals with 70, 1 behind Sarah Brewer of Western Boone.

Kelsey Cromer is 13th in three point field goals made with 23, 13 behind leader Lucy DeFruscio of Carmel.

Kyleigh Hampton is tied for 11th in blocks with 25. Liz Stratman of Heritage Christian leads the state with 56.

As a team Wabash is ranked #26 in state scoring, averaging 60.60ppg. The Lady Apaches are ranked 10th in defensive points allowed, averaging 30.8ppg.  Wabash is ranked 4th in average win margin per game at 29.80.
