Southwood JV Gets Past Wabash

The Southwood boys JV basketball team showed the county championship was no fluke as they defeated the Wabash Apaches for the second time in two weeks 52-34.

The first half was tight as Southwood lead 19-15 after the first quarter and 27-20 at the half. The Knights built the lead to 40-30 after three and then out scored Wabash 12-4 in the final quarter for the victory.

Southwood was lead by Jackson Blair with 12 points. Corey Phillipy had 11 points. Grant Keaffaber added 9 points. Shane Smith had 8 points. Ross Phillipy had 7 points. Levi Sutton added 3 points and Kyle Weaver had 2 points.

Tyler King lead Wabash with 13 points. Cody Beeks had 8 points. David Driscoll had 5 points. Devin Bitzel, Andrew Adamson, Taylor Walker and Mike Jones all had 2 points each.
