The Wabash boys JV basketball team lost to Mississinewa in the last five seconds of the game Tuesday night 46-44. The Apaches could not find the bucket to start the game, not hitting a bucket until the last minute of the quarter when Tyler King hit twice. Still, Mississinewa only lead 10-8 after one.
Wabash out score the Indians in the second quarter 11-7 to take a 19-17 half time lead. Mississinewa went on a 7-0 run to start the third quarter, but Wabash responded and lead 29-28 after three.
Wabash would have an 8 point lead with 2:00 to go when the Indians started to chip away. Mississinewa had cut the lead to 44-41 with 40.7 to go.
