Wabash 7&8 Boys Sweep Manchester

The Wabash 7th grade boys basketball team won a hard fought battle in their final home game of the season against county rival Manchester on Wednesday night.  The Apaches won by a score of 29-26 giving them an undefeated home record for the season and going 3-0 against county schools.

Leading the 9-6 Apaches in a balanced attack were:

The Apaches led 5-4 after the 1st quarter but trailed 13-12 at halftime.  Down 21-14 going into the third Wabash was able to tie the game 26-26 with one minute left and then hit their free throws down the stretch for a final score of 29-26.

The team will play next Thursday evening at Peru.

The Wabash 8th grade boys basketball team played Manchester on Wednesday January 26th and came away with a 46-31 home victory.  Leading the way for the Apaches were:
