In their first home match of the season, the Wabash varsity girls golf team notched their first dual-match victory of the season on Tuesday as they defeated visiting Madison-Grant 207-233 at Honeywell Golf Course. Junior Katie Smith earned medalist honors with a season-low two-over-par 38. Her round included birdies on holes 3 and 7. Sophomore Jordan Rauh followed with a season-low 47. Sophomore Jaclyn Lewis and junior Nina Lake each fired a 61 to round out the scoring for the team. The girls golf team is in action on Thursday as they travel to Stonehenge Golf Course in Warsaw to take part in a three-way match with host Warsaw and visiting Tippecanoe Valley. Tee times start at 4:30pm.
