The Wabash girls golf team continued their improved play as they split a pair of matches on Thursday. At Stonehenge Golf Course in Warsaw, the Lady Apaches were defeated by host Warsaw 179-208 but in turn defeated visiting Tippecanoe Valley 208-271. Junior Katie Smith narrowly missed out on medalist honors by firing a five-over-par 40. Sophomore Jordan Rauh carded another season-low 46. Juniors Nina Lake (60) and Hannah Strickler (62) rounded out the scoring for the team. The Lady Apaches are in action on Monday as they host Whitko at Honeywell Golf Course. Tee times start at 4:30pm.
