The Manchester boys soccer team did something Saturday they have not been able to do in 7 trys against Huntington, beat them. The Squire offense was clicking and the defense threw a shut out, defeating the Vikings 4-0.
Manchester scored two goals in the first half. Martin Andersen scored the first Squire goal on a penalty kick and was followed with a goal from Kegan McNeeley on an assist from Tyler Watson.
McNeeley and Watson both scored goals in the second half, both assisted by Andersen.
The defense of Self, Monce, Diefenbaugh, Bolinger, Giddens and Pyrah held a very strong team to 9 shots. Manchester had 17.
