Lady Rage Close Season With Win

The Metro Lady Rage closed out their season with a 7-1 win against the Kokomo Area Home School team on Monday night at the Morrett Sports Complex.

Cassidy Sausaman (NHS) opened the scoring at the 5 minute mark when Jaycie Wright (SHS) played a through ball to her in front of the 18 yd box. Sausaman scored a second goal at the 18 minute mark to put the Rage up 2-0. Sausaman found the back of the net for a third time at the 38 minute mark when Elisabeth Hobson (WHS) played a ball down the right flank and Sausaman beat the defender to record the hat trick.

The Rage built on their 3-0 lead 5 minutes into the second half when Allie Enyeart (SHS) scored on an assist from Sausaman. Bailey Al-Khateeb (WHS) scored 10 minutes later and Enyeart tallied her second goal of the half at the 58 minute mark. Abby Duhamell (WHS) scored at the 64 minute mark by re-directing a ball in front of the goal after Wright crossed the ball to Duhamell.

Kokomo’s lone goal came with 8 minutes left in the game to make the final score 7-1. Hannah Fadil (SHS) had 9 saves in goal to preserve the win for the Rage.

Special congratulations to the Lady Rage who compiled a 5-3-2 record for the year. Senior team members include:
