The Wabash girls basketball team’s season record went to 4-4 Tuesday, losing to Warsaw 58-36.
The Lady Apaches hung tough with 4A Warsaw early, leading the Lady Tigers 14-11 after the first quarter.
Warsaw would come back, out scoring Wabash 21-11 in the second quarter to lead the Apaches 32-25 at the half.
The third quarter was low scoring with Warsaw winning the quarter 10-8 and leading 42-33 with a quarter to go.
Warsaw took control on their home court in the fourth quarter, out scoring the Lady Apaches 16-3 for the 58-36 final.
Leading Wabash was Kelsey Cromer with 19 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assist and 2 steals. Kyleigh Hampton had 9 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assist, 1 steal and 2 blocks. Claire Cromer had 5 points and 2 assist. Marin Hill had 3 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Kalie Obenour had 2 rebounds and 2 assist. Katelyn Vogel had 1 assist. Charlie Pardo had 5 rebounds and 1 assist. Hannah Mullett had 2 rebounds. Brittany Stone had 1 assist. Sarah Puckett had 1 rebound.
