Quote(s) by Coach __Gary Norman______:  This was a great day of wrestling for the kids.  We stepped it up a couple notches today and it paid off for us.  We still have a lot to work on as we head into conference and sectional.

We need to step it up Tuesday as we finish our dual meet season against conference rival Whitko.  We all need to keep our focus on wrestling as we honor our seniors in our last match.

The Southwood wrestling team showed improvement as they posted a 3-2 mark at Rochester. Colton Dawes(106lbs) and Jonathon Freidersdorf(132lbs) put together their best efforts this season and along with Jake Smith(285lbs) finished their day 5-0. Nick McCown earned a 4-1 mark at 170lbs wrestling very good competition. Will Adams put together a 3-2 mark at 145lbs and at 160lbs Skyler Winget split his matches 2-2.
