The Wabash boys basketball team hosted Blackhawk Christian Friday, being extremely out played for three quarters before rallying in the fourth quarter, but falling short 70-57.
Blackhawk jumped on the Apaches early, out scoring Wabash 19-10 in the first quarter and then extending their lead to 38-22 at the half.
Being at home the Apaches can erupt at any time, but the third quarter belonged to Blackhawk again, winning the quarter 21-9 and building their lead to 59-31 with a quarter to go.
The Wabash offense finally caught fire in the fourth quarter, putting up 26 points while holding Blackhawk to 11, but the deficit was to much to overcome as the Apaches fell 70-57.
Leading Wabash was Breyton Nealis with 13 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Tyler Brewer had 12 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Shea Beauchamp had 12 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block. Travis Shears had 8 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 3 blocks. Landon Cole had 5 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Jacob Ellis had 3 points and 2 rebounds. Andrew Adamson had 2 points, 2 assist and 6 steals. Nate Price had 2 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assist and 1 steal. Tyler King had 1 assist.
The JV lost to Blackhawk 44-29.
Roger Davis led with 9 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Justin Holley had 8 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals.
