The Varsity Boys’ Basketball team extended their winning streak to 16 games, ending their regular season with a 65-42 victory over Madison Grant Tuesday.
The Norse had not seen a loss since Dec. 16th when they fell at Wabash and wanted to end the regular season on a winning note before they face North Miami in the first game of the sectional next week.

Madison Grant would get a little offense going in the third quarter, putting up 19 points while holding the Norse to 9, but Northfield still held a comfortable 18 point lead of 47-29 with a quarter to go.
The Norse opened the gap back to 25 at 56-31 with 4:38 to go and cruised to the 65-42 win.
