Wabash Holds On Against Eastern

The Wabash varsity boys basketball team defeated Eastern Tuesday 72-66 to move to 9-10 on the year.

Wabash led 15-10 after the first quarter and 38-24 at the half.

Wabash led 54-42 after three and then held on as Eastern closed the gap to 65-60 with 1:50 to go before out scoring the Comets 7-6 down the stretch for the win.

Wabash was led by Shea Beauchamp with 20 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assist and 2 steals. Travis Shears and Breyton Nealis added 11 points each. Shears had 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Nealis had 4 rebounds, 9 assist, 1 steal and 2 blocks. Andrew Adamson had 10 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assist and 2 steals. Tyler Brewer had 8 points, 1 rebound, 2 assist and 2 steals. Nate Price had 6 points, 2 rebounds and 5 steals. Tyler King had 3 points and 1 assist. Landon Cole had 3 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assist and 2 steals. Jacob Ellis had 1 rebound.

The Apaches will end the regular season with a trip to Elwood on Friday night.
