Apaches 2 for 2 This Week

The Wabash baseball team won for the second night in a row, topping Bluffton Tuesday 11-8 to win their third game in a row and fifth on the season (5-1). The Apaches play five games this week as they travel to Maconaquah Wednesday and host Lewis Cass in a double header Saturday.

Sophomore Roger Davis made his first varsity start on the mound for Wabash and picked up the win, going the first five innings and allowing just one earned run.

The Apaches started off hot, leading 7-1 after three innings, but walks and defensive errors let Bluffton in the game. Wabash pitching gave up 11 walks and the defense committed 6 errors.

The Wabash bats led the way again as the Apaches pounded out 10 hits to score in double digits and hold off the Tigers.
