Wabash Comeback Falls Short

The Wabash baseball team took the field for the first time in nine days and it showed. Although the Apaches out hit Eastbrook 14-7, too many free base runners hurt Wabash in an 11-9 loss.

Things were looking good early as the Apaches rallied for 5 runs in the second inning and led 6-1 after two. The Panthers would then plate 10 runs in the next three innings and take an 11-6 lead after five.

Wabash would try to rally back, scoring 1 run in the sixth and 2 in the seventh to make it 11-9 and had the tying runs on base before the rally fell short.

The Apaches used four pitchers in the game. Shea Beauchamp took the loss.
