Five Run Inning Lifts Wabash Over Whitko

The Wabash baseball scored in just two innings Wednesday, but a 5 run fifth lifted the Apaches over Whitko 6-1.

The Apaches got a gritty pitching performance by Andrew Shepherd who pitched around 5 errors and left 9 Whitko runners on base as he picked up his 6th win of the season.

Wabash answered big after Whitko tied the game at 1-1 in the top of the 5th with a 5 run bottom of the 5th keyed by an RBI double by Shepherd and a two out 2 run single by Nate Price.
