Lady Knights Take Valley In Five

The Southwood Lady Knight softball team was on a mission Wednesday, playing with heavy hearts and dedicating their game to a little fighter named Aubrey Lynn, defeating Tippecanoe Valley 16-6 in five innings.

The Knights took advantage of five Valley errors, while out hitting the Vikings 11-9. Southwood scored in all five innings, with the big punch coming in the third when they scored six runs.

The junior varsity lost a tough 9-8 decision to Mississinewa.

The difference in the game was a seven run second inning for the Indians.
