Apache 7th Wins Valley Tourney

The Wabash 7th grade brought home another trophy and improved their record to 7-0 on the season after winning the Tippy Valley Holiday Tournament on Saturday.  Wabash ran the fastbreak against Crestview and had four players with double-digit scoring.  Luke Mattern had 18, Seth Yeadon scored 13, Austin Vinopal had 12, and Kory Fuller rounded out the scoring with 10 points.  In game 2 against Rochester, Wabash picked apart the zone defense and ran the floor to win with a score of 49-27.  Vinopal led the way with 18 points, Mattern had 17, and Yeadon scored 8.  Kory Fuller and Matthew Stein added 2 points each.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           The Wabash 8th grade boys basketball team competed in the Tipp Valley Holiday Classic and lost to the host Vikings 21-48.  Scoring for Wabash were:

Kaleb Kelsheimer – 9pts
Mason Jones – 6 pts
Chase Watson – 3 pts
Matt Jones – 2 pts
Sam Hipskind – 1 pt
Wabash will be back in action on Wednesday night at Columbia MS in Logansport and at home on Thursday against Southern Wells.
