The Northfield Lady Norse basketball team won their 5th game in a row Tuesday, going on the road to beat Taylor 47-36 to move their season record to 6-1.
Northfield put five players in the scoring column, with three in double figures.
The Lady Norse got off to a great start, leading 12-4 after the first quarter and building the lead to 25-12 at the half.
Taylor would out score Northfield 13-10 in the third quarter, but the Norse responded by winning the fourth 12-11 for the 47-36 final.
Sydney Eltzroth led the Norse with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals. Kylie Echard added 11 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 2 blocks. Arie Kennedy had 10 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 1 block. Sidney Reed had 8 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assist, 1 steal. Katie Stephan had 6 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assist, 3 steals.

The junior varsity dropped their first game of the year, falling to Taylor 19-15.
Jensen Zumbaugh had 4 points and 3 rebounds, Sarah Driscoll had 3 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Maddie Dale had 2 points and 5 rebounds. Payton Thompson chipped in with 4 points.
