Wabash JH Boys Split With Southern Wells

The Wabash Middle School 8th grade boys basketball team lost a close game to Southern Wells 54-57 in Coolman Gymnasium on Thursday night.  Coming back from 12 down at the Half the Apaches outscored Southern Wells 34-25 in the second half.  Wabash had a chance to tie the game with a three after stealing the inbounds pass with 1.6 seconds left but the shot by Kaleb Kelsheimer rimmed out.  The Apaches had 8 players score and they were:

The Wabash 7th graders took down Southern Wells 36-11.  The Apaches had three scorers in double digits: Austin Vinopal 12, Luke Mattern 11, Seth Yeadon 10.  Kory Fuller hit a 3-pointer to round out the scoring for the night.  The Apaches are 9-0 on the season.
