The Wabash girls basketball team raised their season record to 6-3 Saturday with a 54-36 road win over Rochester.
The Lady Apaches controlled things right from the start, leading 10-4 after one and 22-10 at the half.
Wabash would out score Rochester 32-26 in the second half for the win.
The Lady Apaches shot 52% inside the arch and 25% outside the arch, hitting 91% from the free throw line.
Wabash put six players in the scoring column, led by Lyndsie Thomas with 15 points, 1 rebound, 2 assist, 2 steals. Kyleigh Hampton added 11 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 7 blocks. Claire Cromer had 10 points, 5 assist, 2 steals. Katelyn Vogel had 9 points, 1 rebound, 3 assist, 2 steals. Sarah Puckett had 7 points. Jaclyn Lewis had 2 points. Charlie Pardo had 3 rebounds, 1 steal. Abby Stein had 2 rebounds, 1 steal.
The Junior Varsity goes to 4-5 with a 39-30 loss at Rochester.
