For three quarters Thursday night it looked as though the Manchester Lady Squires were going to pull off the upset before faling to Eastbrook 46-35.
Free throws were the deciding factor as Eastbrook connected on 11 of 16 in the fourth quarter, while Manchester had just one attempt.
Manchester led 9-4 after the first stop with Bekah Brunn leading three scorers with 4 points. Kayla Flack would drain a three pointer in the second as Manchester held on and led 17-14 at the half.
The two teams played to a 7-7 tie in the third to make it 24-21 before the hot free throw shooting aided a 25 point quarter for Eastbrook for the 46-35 win. Kayla Flack had two three pointers in the quarter.
Leading Manchester was Kayla Flack with 15 points. Bekah Brunn added 11, Tabby DeWitt 9.
The junior varisty fell to Eastbrook 39-7.
Katelyn Andritsch, Keali Carter and Tiffany Johnson had 2 points each.
