Southwood/Wabash JH Boys Split

The Wabash 7th graders put together a solid team win over county rival Southwood Thursday.  The Knights were able to cut the Apache lead to three late in the game, but Wabash pulled through with a 40-29 victory.  Austin Vinopal had a game-high 15 points for Wabash, followed by Seth Yeadon who put up 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Austin Vinopal – 15 points, 6 rebounds, Seth Yeadon – 14 points, 12 rebounds, Luke Mattern – 4 points, 6 assists
Matthew Stein – 4 points, Kory Fuller – 3 points.
For Southwood Carson Blair had 13 points. Matthew Nose added 12. Peyton Trexler had 3 assist, Lucas Topliff 3 steals.
Southwood won the 8th grade contest 45-17.
Eryk Weber led with 16 points, 13 rebounds, 3 steals. Blake Martz had 12 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assist, 2 steals. Jeffery Finicle had 8 points. Hudson Schlemmer had 5 points, 5 rebounds. Luke Perlich had 4 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals.
