The Northfield girls basketball kept on a roll Thursday as they raised their season record to 12-3 with a 54-35 over Mississenewa.
The Lady Norse jumped out to a quick 13-3 lead after the first quarter and led 29-12 at the half.
The Lady Norse used a balanced scoring attack with seven players finding the bucket, using full and half court pressure to keep Mississinewa out of sink.
Northfield would go on to out score the host 25-23 in the second half for the 54-35 win.
Leading the way for the Lady Norse was Sidney Reed with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assist. Payton Thomson added 10 points, 1 assist, 1 rebound, 1 steal. Kylie Echard had 9 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assist, 1 steal, 5 blocks. Arie Kennedy had 7 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assist. Sydney Eltzroth had 7 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assist, 3 steals, 2 blocks. Katie Stephan had 6 points, 1 rebound, 2 assist, 7 steals. Marlee Stefanatos had 2 points, 1 steal. Abby Keaffaber had 1 rebound, 1 steal.

The junior varsity fell to Mississinewa 36-35.
