Behind a double double from Autumn Brewer the Manchester Lady Squire basketball team cruised to a 52-30 win over FW Blackhawk Monday.
Manchester flexed their inside muscle right from the start Monday as they jumped out to an 18-2 first quarter lead. Autumn Brewer would lead the charge with four buckets for 8 points, while Kayla Flack banged home a three pointer and three free throws for 6.

Blackhawk would out score Manchester 14-10 in the third, but the Squire game plan stayed the same, but with a different person. Tabby DeWitt would lead the charge with a bucket and a couple free throws as the Lady Squires were cruising 42-26 with a quarter to go.
With a large lead heading to the fourth it was gut check time for the Lady Squires and they answered the call. Manchester would hold Blackhawk to just 4 points while scoring 10 of their own for the final 52-30 score. Kalene Freshour led Manchester in the quarter with two buckets for 4 points.
