Apache Bats Go Cold

The Wabash varsity baseball team had something happen to them Friday they are not used to. The bats went cold as the Apaches had just one hit and gave up two sixth inning runs to Marion, falling to the Giants 2-1.

The Apaches just couldn’t put together any offense besides an rbi single from Devin Hostetler in the fourth, driving in Justin Holley to give Wabash a 1-0 lead.

Grant Sailors took the tough loss on the mound, going six innings, giving up 4 hits, 2 runs(1ER), 1 walk and 3 strike outs.

Wabash is now 5-3 and host the Apache Classic Saturday. Wabash plays Hebron at 12:30
