Apaches Stumble Against North Miami

The Wabash varsity baseball team got off to a rough start Monday, falling to North Miami 10-4.

The Apaches put themselves behind the 8 ball, giving up 6 unearned runs on 5 errors in the first 4 innings, and trailed North Miami 9-0 after 4. The Apaches played better in the final 3 innings but the damage was done and fell10-4.

The Apaches scored 3 runs in the 5th and 1 in the 6th.

Wabash had 9 hits in the game, all singles. Tyler Brewer led the way, going 3 for 3 with an rbi. Shea Beauchamp was 2 for 4 with an rbi. Landon Cole, Grant Sailors, Kyle Kelsheimer and Isiah Smith each had a hit.

Grant Sailors took the loss on the mound, going 4 innings, giving up 9 hits, 9 runs(3E), 7 strike outs and 2 walks.
