The Wabash baseball team scored in each of the first four innings Monday, in route to a 12-0 five inning win over Manchester.
Wabash took advantage of 11 hits and 6 Manchester errors to score 7 unearned runs. Wabash scored 3 in the first, 4 in the second, 3 in the third and 2 in the fourth.
The Wabash offense was led by Shea Beauchamp, who was 3 for 3 with 1 double, 1 home run, 1 rbi and scored 3 runs. Landon Cole was 2 for 3 with 3 rbi’s. Isiah Smith was 2 for 3 with a double, home run and 2 rbi’s. Grant Sailors, Devin Bitzel, Roger Davis and Kyle Kelsheimer each had a hit.
Grant Sailors got the win on the mound, going 5 innings, giving up 6 hits, 2 walks and 4 strike outs.
Manchester’s 6 hits came from two players. Branden Scott and Jim Sainsbury had 3 hits each.
