Fort Wayne, IN – Indiana Tech sophomores Tyler Denniston and Zach Sailors, from Wabash, Indiana, helped lead the Warriors to their fourth Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament championship in the last five seasons. Tech finished the year with a 33-18 record.
Tyler, from Southwood High School, ended the year with an average of .313 with 4 doubles, 14 runs, and 13 RBI. Tyler also had 20 hits, a slugging percentage of .375, an on-base percentage of .357, and 2 stolen bases.
Zach, who transferred in from Purdue University, finished the year with a 5-3 record and a 4.41 earned run average. He threw two complete games this season. Zach struck out 19 batters in 32.2 innings pitched.
