Manchester’s Matthew Fahs-Brown opened his cross country season by winning the Northwood Invite Saturday. Fahs-Brown led the Squire team to an 8th place finish by winning the race in 17:09.
Other scoring for the Squires were Tristan Fields, 54th in 22:36, Andrew Longanecker 56th in 23:34, Jeremy Herrmann 61st in 25:22 and Jimmy Curtis 62nd in 25:47.
The girls team also finished in 8th. Scoring for the Lady Squires were Trista Hill 30th in 25:28, Clara Burdette 38th in 26:12, Natasha Niccum 44th in 26:42, Liza Airgood 47th in 27:06, Alexis Wagoner 51st in 27:43 and Alexis Vernon 53rd in 28:11.
In the girls junior varsity race Molly Woods was 19th in 30:03, Marie Wallner 22nd in 31:02, Linsey Dierks 23rd in 31:20, Sapphire Fiddler 25th in 32:55.
