Manchester JH Sweeps Indian Springs

The Manchester 7th grade volleyball team improved their record to 2-0 on the season with a 25-12, 25-22 win over Indian Springs Eagles Thursday night.  Kasi Casper led the team with 8 points on 6 aces, followed by Emma West with 7 points on 3 aces.  Kennidy Lauer added 6 points on 4 aces, Kelsey Eichenauer had 5 points on 5 aces, Anna Osborne had 3 points on 3 aces, along with 2 kills, and Halie Wampler had 2 points, 2 aces, 1 kill and 1 assist.
In the B game, Manchester lost 13-15.  Greta Auler led the team with 6 points on 4 aces.  Halie Wampler had 1 point on 1 ace, and Kennidy Lauer had 1 point.

Team:
We struggled with our serves during the first game, but we were able to hold on for the win. In the second game, we served tough and had some great offensive plays. I was very pleased with the way the team stayed focused throughout the match.
In the B contest – Manchester lost to IS Eagles 9-15

Erika Kendall and Emily Mize each had an ace
