The Northfield junior high volleyball teams hosted Huntington Riverview Thursday.
The 7th grade won 25-21, 25-12.
Hope Unger started the girls off with a 5 point serving run. Riverview would mount a comeback to take the lead, but the Norse regrouped to pull out game one. With the match tied in game two
Kelcie Thomson served the Norse to a large lead serving 8 points in a row, then served four in a row to end the game.
The Lady Norse 8th grade volleyball team fell to Riverview 21-25, 21-25.
Kiana Kendall had five attacks for the evening. Braelyn Deeter had 13 good sets, 8 good serves, and 1 ace, while Ava Smith added 7 good serves and 4 aces.
The Lady Norse are back in action on Monday at McCulloch.
