Lady Norse Split With McCulloch

The Nortfhield 7th grade volleyball team defeated McCulloch Monday 25-22, 25-16

Game one went point for point until the very end when Ally Keaffaber took the Norse ahead serving 4 points in a row and then getting the last point from a service error.

In the second game, the Norse again started out point for point with McCulloch. The Lady Norse took the lead with Hope Unger serving 3 points in a row and from there the Norse really took and never looked back.Trinity Johnson finished the second game for the Norse by serving the final 3 points of the second game.

The lead server/scorer was Ally Keaffaber who served 9 points for the Norse and 7 of those points were serving aces.


The Lady Norse 8th grade volleyball team lost to McCulloch Monday night: 24-25, 14-25. Emily Howenstine was the top server with 5 aces and 12 good serves. Emily Miner and Katy Pefley contributed 5 good serves each. Braelyn Deeter and Kiana Kendall both had 7 attacks. The Norse meet Tippecanoe Valley at home on Thursday in their first RRC match of the season.
