Wabash JH Splits With Riverview

Apache2The Wabash Middle School 7th and 8th grade teams split a pair of home volleyball matches Thursday night with visiting Riverview. The Lady Apache 7th Grade Volleyball Team is 7-0 after beating Riverview, 25-11/25-15.

Brooke Irgang led the Wabash 7th Grade Team with (17) Service Points, including (6) Aces,(5) Digs, (3) Assists, and (1) Kill. Mckenzie Hayslett had (5) Service Points, including (3) Aces. Sam Irgang had (3) Service Points, including an Ace, (3) Blocks, (2) Kills, and (2) digs. Cali Bonfitto had (3) Service Points, including an Ace, and a Service Reception. Kiley Stone had (2) Service points, (1) Dig, (2) Target Passes, a Kill and an Assist. Kailynn Richardson had (2) Service Points, including an Ace. Tabby Wagner had an Ace, a Dig, a Service Reception, and an Assist. Abby Vinopal had a Service Point, a Dig, a Kill, and a Target Pass. Kaylee Graf had (2) Target Passes, and (2) Service Receptions. Mackenzie Sheridan had a Target Pass, and Brenna Hipsher had a Service Reception.

The Lady Apache 8th Grade Volleyball Team fell 12-25 in the first game to Riverview, but rallied in the second game to defeat the Riverview Team 25-22. The third game was very close with Wabash losing 13-15 in the final set. The Wabash 8th Grade Volleyball Team is now 4-3.
For the Wabash 8th Grade Team, Kenda Mullen had (15) Digs, and (7) Kills. Alexis Hartley had (15) Assists, (9) Service Points, including (3) Aces, and (3) Kills. Tristan Vigar had (8) Service Points, including (2) Aces. Paige Beeks had (3) Kills, and (3) Blocks. Kaitlyn Mollett, and Angela Levine each had a Block.
