The Metro Rage varsity team lost to visiting Indy Northwest 4-0 on Thursday night. The Rage had several chances in the first half but could not find the back of the net. Unfortunately Indy Northwest had no problem finishing their opportunities.
Rage Coach Jeff Hobson wasn’t disappointed with the effort of his team. “I really thought we played well despite the final score. Indy Northwest is a very good team and they did a great job of finishing their chances on goal.” Hobson went on to say “Heath Miller had two shots skim the post early in the game and one bang off the post in the second half. We just couldn’t stick anything in the goal.”
Julian Hobson had seven saves on goal and Trey Eads had two defensive clearances to save two more goals.
The Rage will close their season out on Saturday, October 12th at the King’s Academy Tournament. The Rage will open with Christo Del Rey at 1pm and will play their second game against Pioneer at 4pm.
