Wabash 7th-Northfield 8th Win Volleyball Action

The Wabash junior high volleyball teams split a pair of home matches with visiting Northfield Wednesday. Wabash won the 7th grade contest 25-12, 25-20, while Northfield took the 8th grade

Abby Vinopal led the 7th Grade Apache Team with (12) Service Points, including (3) Aces, (4) Digs, (2) Service Receptions, a Target Pass, (2) Kills, and a Block. Brooke Irgang had (7) Service Points, including (3) Aces, (5) Assists, (5) Digs, (3) Service Receptions, and a Kill. Sam Irgang had (6) Service Points, including (3) Aces. (4) Digs, (3) Service Receptions, (3) Kills, and (3) Blocks. Tabby Wagner had (5) Service Points, including (3) Aces, (8) Digs, (4) Service Receptions, (2) Kills, and a Block. Kiley Stone had (2) Service Points, (4) Digs, (3) Assists, (2) Target Passes, and a Service reception.
Mckenzie Hayslett had (2) Service Points, including an Ace, (4) Digs, and a Service Reception. Mackenzie Sheridan had (3) Digs and a Service Reception. Kaylee Graf had (3) Service Receptions. Brenna Hipsher had a Dig and a Service Reception. Mackenzie Hoefer had a Service Reception.
The leading servers for Northfield were Kelcie Thomson serving 5 points and Hope Unger scoring 8 points. Lillie Evans had some great service digs, Libby Haupert and Caleigh Holmes had some great hits.
The Lady Norse 8th grade volleyball team beat Wabash on Wednesday night: 25-22, 25-19. Kenzie Thornsbury served 11 points in a row to lead the team. Kiana Kendall had 15 good digs and Ava Smith added 9.
